Paul Gardner and Wayne O’Connell are no newcomers to the industry, being an integral part of the London house scene for over 22 years now, but it is only recently that the guys have earned the long overdue, and much deserved, worldwide recognition they have been striving for.

In today’s climate most artists carve out a production profile before proving themselves as DJ’s. It is this that often leads to most artists’ productions being more dance floor orientated the more experienced they become, as they gain that all important first hand knowledge of what it takes to rock a packed dance floor. As DJ’s first and foremost, Paul and Wayne already had intimate knowledge of what worked in the main rooms up and down the country, so it was a simple case of applying this knowledge to their production work, and it is this that has led to their immediate rise to fame.

House music has come to attract all manner of less than complimentary connotations as the scene has grown up, but at its core the term still implies crowd pleasing main room music.

They soon became known for their love and devotion to all things house and 12 years on there still here, passionate as ever and still love struck with “house music”.

The moral of this story is that through all the genre twisting monocles that have been administered to different types of house that have become popular. The Soul Avengerz have followed their hearts and made music for the house connoisseur. Having had to ride the wave of house coming and going in & out of fashion over the last decade.. And what a decade it was for the Soul Avengerz.

No one does peak time floor fillers better… Quickly establishing a staggering production profile, the boys caught the attention of some of the UK’s major record labels, with remix work for CR2, Positiva, Ministry of Sound, Manifesto, Sony BMG, Mn2s, Gut, Hed Kandi, Milk&Sugar, Universal, Island, Emi and Strictly Rhythm promptly following…

From the anthemic funk of ‘Love You Feel’ & ‘One Love’ to remixing for Marshall Jefferson, Queen, Lee Caberra, Axwell, Bootyluv, Inaya Day, Nightcrawlers, George Benson, Kaskade, Kid Massive, Beyonce, Chris Lake, Blondie, Tom Novy, Alison Limerick, Joey Negro & Michelle Weeks.. the guys have also been writing with artists Katherine Ellis, Peyton, Angie Brown, Max’C, Krysten Cummins all this plus many exciting projects for 2012 Remixes & tracks for Robbie Rivera, Hardsoul, Jerry Repero, Milk&Sugar, ShapeShifters & Candi Staton.
