István Dörnyei aka Soneec has been involved in electronic music since the mid 90’s. His musical thinking was shaped by many of the dominant figures in the house scene from Detroit to London.
In 2005 he launched both of his record labels, Lip Recordings and Dublife Music whose releases have featured on many compilation albums including Cafe Del Mar, Roger Sanchez’s Release Yourself series and the Subliminal Selections.
He is a very popular DJ in his home country of Hungary as well as gigging internationally in the UK, Amsterdam & Ibiza. His DJ sets are takes through the entire spectrum of house. Soneec also now leads the Sunday evening Disco*shit program with Attila Bárány, the founder of B-Sensual, and Danny L from Muzzaik.
